Processor module joins wireless card on show

Digi International will launch the new ConnectCore 9P 9215 module and Digi Connect Wi-Wave at the Embedded World exhibition. The Digi ConnectCore 9P 9215 is a powerful and cost-effective embedded processor module based on Digi's new NET+ARM NS9215 ARM9 processor. It combines application processing, real-world interfacing and 100/100 Ethernet networking support with advanced power management features and security features.
The Digi Connect Wi-Wave is a wireless addon card with a PCI Express form factor and a USB 2.0 high-speed interface that adds 802.11b/g wireless connectivity to embedded products.

Its benefits include long-term availability, operation of an extended temperature range, and support for WPA2 enterprise grade security.

Additionally, Digi will be launching a newly expanded range of its very popular JumpStart Kits, which help make embedded development faster and less expensive.

The new range will feature kits including a variety of production-ready add-on hardware and integrated software, with device drivers implemented in Digi's NET+OS 7, Microsoft Windows Embedded CE 6.0 and/or Linux.

Digi will of course also showcase its existing range of embedded device networking products and chipsets at the show including ZigBee modules and devices and application kits from both Digi and Rabbit Semiconductor.
