New from Hall Research Technologies is the UV(x)-16X video over Category-5 UTP product line. The UV(X)-16X series routes 16 individual input signals through a 2RU enclosure and extends them over UTP cable up to 300m. The UV1-S-16x transmits the receiver power and video (VGA or component) over UTP.
Compatible receiver units (sold separately) are required to convert the UTP signal back to VGA.

The UVA-16x transmits audio and video (VGA or component) over UTP.

Compatible receiver units (sold separately) are required to convert the UTP signal back to VGA and audio.

Optionally, the transmission of audio can be replaced by serial (RS232) in the UV232-16x.

Hall Research can also build custom units with fewer than 16 outputs or a mix of capabilities giving the end user the most flexible installation possible.

The UV(X)-16X comes in a sturdy metal enclosure and has an internal power supply.
