Performance Technologies partners with Interphase Corporation to deliver AdvancedTCA and MicroTCA product solutions

Performance Technologies, has announced that the company will partner with Interphase Corporation for select AdvancedMC I/O modules for Performance Technologies' industry-leading application-ready platform solutions. Throughout its 25-year history, Performance Technologies has led the industry in the development of open standards, including CompactPCI, PICMG 2.16, SIGTRAN and VME.

The company continues this tradition by announcing its new 10Gb AdvancedTCA platform products, and expects to augment platform offerings by partnering with Interphase for I/O solutions that are fully-integrated and target wireless and IP multimedia subsystem (IMS) applications.

This partnership aims to broaden Performance Technologies' Advanced Managed Platform offering by exploiting the company's Linux-based NexusWare software suite for use with Interphase hardware elements.

NexusWare will add additional value to these elements while offering a consistent software offering to that of other Performance Technologies products.

Additionally, the partnership will allow Performance Technologies to bring new and enhanced platforms to market, rapidly resulting in a broad set of application-ready platform solutions.
