System controls security cameras

In a typical installation the UBL-CPA unit is located at the DVR with the camera's power supply plugged into the unit

Hall Research Technologies (HRT) has entered the balun market with a product created for security and surveillance camera extension. This product is used to extend the video and optional audio from a camera to a DVR (digital video recorder) to over 762m on Cat5/5e/6 UTP cable. It also carries the power from the DVR location to the camera.
In a typical installation the UBL-CPA unit is located at the DVR with the camera's power supply plugged into the unit.

At the camera location a second UBL-CPA is used to connect to the cameras video (and possible audio) output.

The cameras power input plugs to the 2.1mm power jack located on the unit.

The video signal at the camera and DVR are 100% isolated from power ground to prevent any grounding issues or video interference.

For a typical installation two units are required, one for the camera end and one for the DVR end.
