Miniboard is made for serious number crunching

New from Commell, the LS-371 is a 3.5in embedded miniboard with the latest Intel Centrino Mobile technology 945GM Express chipset that supports the Intel Core 2 Duo, Core Duo, Core Solo and Intel Celeron M processors. The board is enhanced to handle today's demanding software applications - such as graphics-intensive games or serious number-crunching programs. The LS-371 supports a 667MHz front side bus - a 25% increase in bandwidth over the previous generation - and up to 2Gbyte of 667MHz dual channel DDR2 memory.

The integrated 256bit graphics core running at 400MHz and DirectX 9 3D hardware acceleration, based on the Intel GMA 950 architecture, delivers a twofold improvement in graphics performance over the previous generation chipset.

The integrated display controller comes with up to 2048 x 1536 resolution for both analogue and digital displays.

Multiple display types (LVDS, DVI, HDTV, TV-out, CRT), and HDTV 480i/p, 576i/p, 720i/p, 1080i/p display resolutions are supported.

The LS-371 comes with floppy, PS/2 keyboard and mouse, RS232C, RS/232/422/485, UltraATA 100 EIDE and integrated Serial ATA host controller interfaces, and supports two ports with data transfers up to 150Mbyte/s.

Networking is provided by Intel 82573L PCI-Express 10/100/1000Mbit/s LAN, four USB2.0 ports for 40x faster data transfer rate and backward compatible to support USB 1.0 devices and AC97 3D audio are also integrated.

A Mini PCI slot and CompactFlash interface are also provided.

With its small form factor and full range 8-24V DC supply range, the LS-371 is a high performance solution for automotive applications.
