In-vehicle networking technology explained

Training course is aimed at automotive engineers and technicians who want to get a good basic understanding of in-vehicle networking technology
Warwick Control has a new training course 'In-vehicle networking technology for automotive engineers and technicians', which as its name suggests is aimed at automotive engineers and technicians who want to get a good basic understanding of in-vehicle networking technology and how it affects the industry now and will affect the industry in the future.

Controller Area Network (CAN) technology is covered in detail as it is the de-facto industry standard.

Participants will also get a good understanding of the use of the Local Interconnect Network (LIN), FlexRay, MOST and possible future protocols.

Demonstrations will be given on some of the different technologies so that participants can understand exactly what information is provided by each of the network technologies.

Finally, diagnostics and the typical failures are described in detail so that participants will be armed with the knowledge of the type of problems they might encounter and how to deal with them.

This is a one and a half day course that is set in an intensive twelve hour schedule so that participants only need to spend one day away from the office.

It includes both lunch and dinner.

The first courses are to be run on Tuesday 19th June 2007 and Tuesday 17th July 2007 and the cost per delegate is GBP 300.
