The HS-872P supports high speed DDR2 400/533/667 memory providing maximum capacity 2Gbyte, and integrated 256bit graphics core running at 400MHz and DirectX 9 3D hardware acceleration, based on Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 950 (Intel GMA 950) architecture, delivers a 2x improvement in graphics performance over the previous generation chipset, The integrated display controller comes with up to 2048 x 1536 resolution for both analogue and digital displays, and support for multiple display types (LVDS,DVI,CRT).

The HS-872P comes with floppy, PS/2 keyboard and mouse, RS232C and RS232/RS422/RS485 ports, a printer port, UltraATA 100 EIDE onboard, dual Intel 82537L PCI-Express Gigabit Ethernet LAN ports, four USB2.0 ports, AC97 3D audio and a CompactFlash interface.
